FAQ
How do I care for my molded resin toppers?
Molded resin toppers are more fragile than acrylic toppers and are more likely to experience structural changes with extreme temperatures. They are also more likely to crack if dropped.
We highly recommend the use of an extra magnet (or two) and/or glue dots to keep them as secure as possible, especially if your toppers do not snap securely to your frames after shaping.
What's the best way to shape a molded topper?
For some of our favorite methods, please CLICK HERE.
Although we strive to ensure that every topper is perfectly molded to snap to your frame, there may be an occasion where you need to form them yourself (Ex. if your prescription is strong, if your glasses have been adjusted, if the topper has been stored stacked or flat for too long, if the topper has experienced temperature extremes).
Can you do special orders?
The short answer is, yes! However, because molded resin toppers take longer to make and use more supplies than acetate, 3D printed, or sublimated toppers, the cost is a bit higher (starting at $20) and special order spots are limited.
Keep an eye on the Facebook Group for announcements of open special order spots.
What if my topper arrives damaged?
We expertly pack your toppers so they will not break in transit. That being said, if they do arrive broken, please contact us with pictures of both the package and the broken topper and we will either refund, repair, or replace it for you.
What's your return policy?
There are no returns on RTS toppers unless there is a defect that could not be seen in the posted photos (ex. magnet placement is off, etc.)
If you wish to return your toppers for that or any other reason, please contact us so we can work together to ensure your satisfaction.
Solutions may include return + refund, return + replacement, or no return + refund/replacement.
